Combined Mining Company (CMC) is proud to announce the successful expansion of its alluvial gold mining operations in South Kivu. The expansion adds an additional 10 square kilometers of actively managed land to our existing 27 sq. km flagship site.

The project—now fully operational—has increased monthly gold output to 780 ounces, reinforcing CMC’s position as a leader in responsible and efficient gold extraction in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

“This expansion is a reflection of our long-term commitment to ethical mining and local job creation,” said Dr. Jennifer Rwabona Kamusana, Founder & CEO of CMC.

The move also aligns with CMC’s sustainability goals, as new equipment and workflow improvements further reduce environmental impact while boosting productivity.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to grow our footprint and invest in the future of clean, inclusive mining in Africa.
